More fun than a box of puppies. More "Plan 9" than "Battlestar Galactica" & great fun.

great distraction

One of the more polished tower defense games out. Loads quick. Ran great on my 2008 iMac. I like the story mode, a lot more going on there than many TD games. Multiple difficulty levels and it didnt try to sell me something to make impossible levels do-able. Not treating you like a jerk is now a noteworthy feature, how about that.

Wow! If you are into cool retro 50s era sci-fi, Buck Rogers, Flash Gordon type stuff - you will love this game! Very well designed tower defense game where the difficulty increases at just the right pace to keep it challenging, fun and interesting. The artwork, sound, etc., are incredible!

This game runs just fine on my Mac Book Pro. It is a fun and challanging game.

Looks good and a lot of fun, but not for the tower defense beginner. If you like old black and white Sci-Fi this is a must buy though.

Its a good tower type game based on ufos. I purchased at the 50% off sale price and I think that is a very good deal. Worth it.

This is an excellent game. Tower defense and arcade game combined with a b-movie sci-fi twist. Very stylish and very polished. The ingame movies are very well done. This is one of a few games Ive left a link for, in my desktop, so I can easily access it. Starts out easy, you can unlock an arsenal or technology and weapons, and it just keeps getting more challenging.

Excellent, solid, stable game good for hours of fun. Arcade and Challenges keep it fresh. Great interloude scenes that are wonderfully campy!

If you love tower defense games, but hate the typical; place your towers and watch, this is the game for you. Its special, cool, and very engaging. It aint easy, but so worth it. I have probably put in about 12 hours and still finishing up the extras. One of the great ones!

With new gameplay that Ive never experienced in a TD, this, if I may say it, "old school" new style of TD is very interesting. The description pretty much describes the entire game. chessy story and a new kind of tower defence with many different goals and difficulties. at $5 sale price, its a great buy! One thing though that would bring this game to its glory. A complete movie mode. no game, just movie. but only for those who have completed the game. just a suggestion, because it would be so much fun and make it so I dont have to re-play a level just to see a cut-scene. Thanks for what is almost definately the cheesiest game on the Mac App Store ^_^

This game is quite simply INSPIRED. From its design to its implementation, this game is absolutely a quality experience - ESPECIALLY for a tower defense game. This game embraces the genre and adds some very valuable improvements as well. The music is fun, the story is entertaining, and the production qualities havent been seen in gaming for quite some time. I was honestly quite surprised to see something like this from Futuremark, but I hope they have more in them alone these lines. Kudos to the team that put this together - its well done.

I dont know what it is about tower defense games, but I cant get enough of them! With a refreshing take on gameplay mechanics, Unstoppable Gorg is easily one of the best TD games out!

Ive loved TD games ever since I was introduced to them, but recently theyve come to a stagnant halt in their appeal. Ive been disappointed in the generic layout of the snaking tracks and the lack of control over towers (i.e. what the towers target--Balloons TD allows you to choose the targets the tower attacks while every other game utilize the "pure brute force" approach to defense). However, this game offers a unique control option for the towers you build: Move them in an orbit around what is being defended! How happy was I when I finally decided to pay the 10 bucks for it and found it to be the adenine shot that TD games needed! There is a great story plot (told in cheesy "50s sic-fi fashion); challenging, yet not impossible, scenarios; unique game play; and very nice graphics. I highly recommend this game (although 10 bucks might be a tad high… Id say more along the lines of 6.99 or 7.99 at the most…). Again, highly recommend for TD game lovers like myself.
