Love the idea and execution behind this TD game. The gameplay is well-balanced and overall design is excellent. The whole game is very polished and responsive. The price is also right. Hard to beat nine bucks for something that provides this many hours of fun!. -Vik

I love the retro design of Unstoppable Gorg, which first caught my attention. The space rock soundtrack reminds me of Ottomatic, one of my fave games until i couldnt play it on my june 2011 macbook pro. Some of the buttons/actions arent as intuitive as they should be, but the game is fairly easy to play from the start. The graphics are beautiful and its a game I keep thinking was made just for me! (how did they know….) In spite of the difficulty I have when choosing weapons/satellites at the beginning of each chapter, I give the game 5 stars for all the gorgeous detail they put into each screen/ingame movie and for the $10 price. Many high design games wont work on my MBP/Intel HD Graphics 3000, and this looks and plays great!

A very interesting game. The retro feel is fun; the newscasts, special effects and aliens all look right out of old, bad sci-fi movies. The game itself requires some thinking and planning, as a good tower-defense game should. Its not as easy as it looks, either: I recommend that anyone new to it to set the age to easy for the first run-through. no matter how hard-core they think they are. Im not sure I want to know what the higher two levels are like.

The game play is great. The film sequences are wonderful. Good all around game!

This is a fun game. Captures alot of the old B flick movie excitment and lots of action.

I really really want to love this game. I enjoyed it for about a half hour, then quit and came back later only to find I could only see a small corner of the opening screen. Or the entire opening screen in a small corner and the buttons did not work. I restarted my machine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. I gave it my best shot. I want to rate this five stars, but it simply does not work for the Retina MacBook Pro 15’’. Please update to a stable version!!!

This is a great tower defense game with a fun story. Visuals are amazing and gameplay is smooth. High quality, great polish. It starts easy and teaches you the ins and outs. Then in starts getting harder. Just like a game should be. You can unlock secrets, weapons and different kind of technologies to help you thwart enemies. I can highly recommend this game! UPDATE AFTER 1 YEAR: Still a superb game! I can’t believe how easy it is to pick up after some time off and play again, having a great time with the story and characters as well as the gameplay mechanics. This will surely make you have a good gaming time! TWO THUMBS UP!

Fun tower defence game with great cut scenes and graphice to make you feel like your playing some old 1950s alien invasion movie.

For me, the heart of ‘tower defense’ is strategy. Gorg is a well done game, and has some new elements which are always nice to see, but it’s a little to twitch for me. You have to constantly move your towers in their orbit. This is the biggest difference, and IMO, it’s not a good one. I can see how some would like it, I’m just not one. It’s also a bit annoying that you’re limited in where you can place your satalites and at the same time, the incoming paths are not defined at the start. This makes it both impossible to plan ahead, but you’re still penalized for making the wrong choices. That being said, the secondary features of the game are top notch. There’s good tower variety, the different types really do make a difference. This includes an excellent array of support towers. The research and money resource management aspects are also well done. They add richness while staying simple.

First time writing a review for an app. Graphics are good, like everything else from the app. But the second day I got it, I wanted to play it and turned it on. But the mouse would not line up with the highlighted parts on the menu, like there was an invisible mouse. I could not exit the game. I spend about 30 minutes trying to turn off my macbook and turning it on again and it would go right into the game. I have the newest 15 inch with retina display so I know its not my laptop. If they got this fixed it would be good.
