Wont shut off

First time writing a review for an app.
Graphics are good, like everything else from the app. But the second day I got it, I wanted to play it and turned it on. But the mouse would not line up with the highlighted parts on the menu, like there was an invisible mouse. I could not exit the game. I spend about 30 minutes trying to turn off my macbook and turning it on again and it would go right into the game. I have the newest 15 inch with retina display so I know its not my laptop. If they got this fixed it would be good.
